Paul: In an Ideal World my time would be shared between the guitar, and capturing the natural world in still photos and video. My connection with the guitar runs deep and spans more than twenty years as a player , teacher, instrument repairer and customiser. I became a collector as well. Not like a stamp collector, the guitars just sort of moved in with me over time. I am lucky in the sense that my life partner plays as well. She has recently laid claim to my Gibson J 200 jumbo. I'm ok with that because it gives a great full sound to support my improvising and soloing. We love to play outdoors and be inspired by the natural beauty that surrounds us and hopefully reflect it in our music. We are exploring location recording both video and audio and we're finding that sometimes the feel of the place adds a dimension to our music that takes us back there and may be hard to replicate in a totally controlled environment.
